Bridgewater took the three-run inning and sat down the Hornets in order in the fourth, while adding a run in the bottom of the frame.

Shenandoah's offense loaded the bases on an error, a walk, and an Allison McQueeney single in the fifth. However, the bases were left packed after the Eagles struck out the tying run for the third out.

Bridgewater extended its lead to five in the sixth as a run scored on an error by the Hornets. A pair of walks then loaded the bases with another walk bringing around the sixth run. The Eagles ended the game with a two-run single with one out in the inning.

Bridgewater finally broke through with two consecutive doubles in the fourth, taking a 1-0 lead. A walk and two singles helped the Eagles take a 3-0 lead with just one out in the frame. The lead jumped to 4-0 with a single through the left side, which allowed the Eagles to successfully convert a double steal for a 5-0 advantage.

Shenandoah walked the bases loaded in the fifth inning while still trailing by five. Bridgewater took full advantage of the walks and scored three runs to end the game on a single and two more walks.
