Hornets ‘B’ Team Finishes Fourth at Kinder-Williams Invitational

BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Shenandoah University men's golf program wrapped up play Tuesday at the Kinder-Williams Invitational hosted by Bridgewater College, with the "B" team finishing fourth at 589 (+13) and the "C" team placing 13th with a 625 (+49).

Louie Maniacci led the Hornets with a two-day total of even-par 144, tying for ninth after a 75 (+3) in round two. Dan Ailor turned in the team's low round of the day, firing a 70 (-2) to finish 12th overall at 145 (+1).

Mason DuHaime highlighted the round with a hole-in-one on the par-three, 186-yard eighth hole. He shot a 72 Tuesday, improving six strokes from his opening round. Will McClintock tied for 32nd in the field at 150 (+6).

On the "C" team, Harrison Carter posted an even-par 72 in round two with birdies on holes five, 13, and 16, finishing with a two-day score of 149 (+5). Will Gronlund trimmed five strokes off his first-round score, recording three birdies, including back-to-back birdies on holes one and 18 after starting his day on the back nine.

Seth Curry finished with an 81 (+9) on Tuesday, while Brian Slaughter and Connor Reinhard closed the event with 161 (+17) and 169 (+25), respectively.

UP NEXT

Shenandoah heads to the Stateline Shootout in Harrison, Ohio, for the two-day tournament on September 27 and 28.
