FOREST, Va. - Shenandoah University sophomore men's golfer Braden Hermansky was named ODAC Co-Men's Golfer of the Week, giving him two Golfer of the Week awards by the conference this fall.

Hermansky and Hampden-Sydney's Matthew Teegardin are this week's Golfers of the Week winners after each tied for fifth at the West Pines Collegiate at 209 (-4). Hermansky was trailing Teegardin during the final round until the Hornet pared 18, while the Tiger shot bogey.

Hermansky helped the nationally ranked Hornets take second as a team at the tournament, with the team shooting 847 (-5) for the three rounds of golf. Hermansky has placed in the top five at each of his three outings this fall.

During this week's action, the sophomore shot rounds of 68 (-3), 70 (-1), and 71 (E). Hermansky has played par or better golf in eight of his nine rounds so far.

In round one, Hermansky had four birdies, followed by four more in round two, and three in the final round. Additionally, he made 36 total pars and avoided any holes with double-bogey or higher.

SU men's golf now has three ODAC Golfer of the Week honors this year, with Davis Hutchins taking home the honor last week.
