FOREST, Va. - Shenandoah University men's golf student-athlete Davis Hutchins has earned ODAC Golfer of the Week, following the Hornets weekend at the Cardinal Fall Classic in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Hutchins played as an invitational this weekend at Catholic's tournament and finished seventh with a 150 (+6), leading the eight Hornets to compete in the outing.

The sophomore recorded 74 (+2) during round one and followed it up with a 76 (+4) for his final round.

During round one, Hutchins was one-under through six holes, making a birdie on hole three. He'd add one more birdie during the round on hole 14, which is a par-five, 539-yard hole.

Round two saw him sink a birdie on hole four for a 39 (+3) on the front nine, before improving to a 37 (+1) on the back nine of the course.

Hutchins joins Braden Hermansky as the two SU golfers to earn the conference's weekly award this season.
