WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's lacrosse team was defeated 17-10 on Saturday afternoon at home in a non-conference game against Widener University.

Over the next three minutes, Widener scored three consecutive goals to grab a two-goal advantage. Midway through the first, SU scored again with Sam Poster finding the back of the net off an assist from Cody Griffis.

Widener extended its lead by halftime, leading 8-4, as Dylan Foughty recorded the only goal of the second for Shenandoah.
