Women's Basketball Earns At-Large Bid to NCAA Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA announced on Monday afternoon that the Shenandoah University women's basketball team has earned an at-large bid into the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship Tournament.

The Hornets head to Denison University for the Granville Pod, where they play Trine University in the first round on Friday at 5 p.m. The winner of the Trine and Shenandoah plays the winner of Denison and Southern Virginia University in the second round on Saturday.

This is Shenandoah's fourth time in the NCAA Tournament since 2019, its second time as an at-large bid. Only 21 teams earn an at-large bid into the 64-team field.
