Women's Tennis Defeated by Guilford in Regular Season Finale

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Shenandoah University women's tennis team wrapped up its 2025-26 regular season with a 4-3 ODAC loss at Guilford College on Sunday.

The Quakers (10-6, 6-4 ODAC) won four singles matches to secure the win after the Hornets (7-10, 5-5) won the doubles point.

Kendra Gillette and Leigha Montrief were winners at doubles No. 3, 6-0. Erin Talko and Samantha Calvert gave the Hornets the doubles point with their 6-2 victory at No. 2.

Montrief found herself in the win column in singles, winning 6-2, 6-4 at No. 5. Madison Shawver stayed unbeaten in singles with a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 6.

UP NEXT

The Hornets await the conclusion of the regular season for the other ODAC teams to determine the ODAC Tournament.
