COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. The Shenandoah University field hockey team moved up one spot in the Penn Motto/NFHCA Division III Coaches Poll on Tuesday, now sitting 18th in the top 25.

The Hornets were ranked 19th and 20th in earlier editions of the rankings, with this being their highest ranking since being ranked 17th last October.

Shenandoah defeated Sewanee, 5-2, this past Saturday in their lone game of the week. This comes one week after the Hornets downed then No. 7 Franklin & Marshall in double overtime.

The Hornets play Catholic at home this Wednesday and are at No. 19 Washington & Lee University on Saturday.
