VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's tennis team continued its winning ways Sunday with a 9-0 ODAC victory at Virginia Wesleyan.
Shenandoah (6-3, 4-1 ODAC) won by shutout for the second consecutive day in earning its first victory over VWU (8-4, 4-2) since 2017.

Natalia García Molina and
Jahveesha Combs again led the Hornets to the victory with two wins each. For the second straight day, the duo combined to win at love at No. 1 singles.
In singles, the two women bookended the sweep with
García Molina recording the initial singles win with a 6-0, 7-5 victory at No. 1. Combs completed the sweep by taking out Christine Zalameda, 6-3, 6-1 at No. 2.
In between, the Hornets recorded four straight set wins.
Ariella Stepleman had the match clinching win at No. 3, 6-1, 6-0, while
Lily Kimble,
Allison Cherwien, and
Jada Lewis won at Nos. 4-6, respectively.
Stepleman and Kimble had the closest doubles match. They gutted out an 8-7 (9-7) win at No. 2. Cherwien and Lewis won 8-2 at No. 3.
