LEXINGTON, Va. – The Shenandoah University men's basketball team fell to Washington & Lee University 82-50 on Wednesday night in an ODAC game.

The Generals (10-6, 3-4 ODAC) scored 48 points in the first half against the Hornets (3-11, 0-5 ODAC) in their win.

W&L shot 71% in the first half and went 19-24 from inside the three-point line. The Generals helped the shooting percentage by opening up the game on a 17-2 run.

SU went on a scoring run of its own which included a
Brantley Springer '3' cutting the Hornets deficit down to single digits.

Springer and
Malik Jordan led the Hornets in points heading into the locker room at half.

Jordan came out of the locker room and tallied six of the first nine second half points for Shenandoah and assisted on a
Landon Russ 3-pointer as well to begin the final half.

As SU tried to fight back the Generals offense stayed right with them. W&L shot over 54% from the field in the second and 57% from beyond the arc.

Jordan lead SU in points with 11 on the night. On the boards,
Anthony Cowan and
Joshua Stephen led the team in rebounds with 6 and 5, respectively.
