LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Shenandoah University men's basketball team earned its first ODAC win of the
Nick Doyle era Saturday afternoon with an 84-75 victory at Randolph College.
Shenandoah (4-13, 1-7 ODAC) expanded its two-point halftime lead with a 44-point second half to dispatch the WildCats (5-14, 1-8).

Trailing 65-63 after Randolph had a three-point play with 4:11 remaining, the Hornets answered back with a
Joshua Stephen layup on the ensuing trip down the floor to knot the contest at 65-65.
Stephen's bucket started a 12-0 run for Doyle's club that gave SU a 10-point, 75-65, lead with 99 seconds remaining.
Shenandoah then made nine of its 10 attempts from the free throw line over the final 51 seconds to clinch the victory.
Davion Roberts was 3 for 4, Stephen 4 for 4 and
Landon Russ 2 for 2 to prevent the 'Cats from making a comeback.
Roberts and Stephen led the victors with 17 points each while
Binwi Bihai added 12 points to go along with eight rebounds. First-year
Richard Rogers rounded out the double-digit scorers with 16 points.
SU shot 53 percent (25 of 47) for the contest including 55 percent (11 of 20) in the second half.
The 'Cats, who had guard Danny Bickey score 28 points, shot 47 percent (27 of 58).
The Hornets had a 35-27 edge on the glass that led to 10 second chance points.
