WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's tennis team returned home Tuesday with a 7-2 exhibition victory over Harford (Md.) Community College.
Shenandoah (3-5) took a 2-1 lead over the Fighting Owls (3-2) after doubles and then won five of the six singles matches.

Junior
Jahveesha Combs, who was named ODAC Player of the Week Monday, had the longest match of the afternoon. In a contest that took 2.5 hours, Combs put the finishing touches on the 7-2 victory with a 6-1, 2-6, 7-5 win over Natalia Calvo at No. 1 singles.
The match result was already decided as
Lily Kimble, who had paired with Combs to win, 8-6, at No. 1 doubles, opened singles with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 4.
Kelly Hudak quickly followed with a 6-0, 6-2 triumph at No. 3 before
Erin Talko clinched thanks to a win at love at No. 6.
Jada Lewis had the Hornets sixth point with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 5.
Talko and Hudak combined to earn the first team point of the afternoon by taking out Lily Tsomos and Marie Webb, 8-1, at No. 3 doubles.
