Cross Country Set to Host Three Meets in 2026

WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's and women's cross country teams are set to host three meets this fall at Kernstown Battlefield.

For the second time since 2022, the Hornets will host the ODAC Championships on their home course. The last time SU hosted the conference championships, the Hornets placed third on the women's side and sixth on the men's. This year's conference meet is on Halloween.

The season begins for Shenandoah at the Bridgewater College Open on September 1, with a trip to Shippensburg for the Galen Piper Challenge a few days after on September 4.

On Friday, September 11, the Hornets host the first of three meets with the SU Twilight Open, which has been a staple for the program since 2022.

The following week, Shenandoah hosts the Hornet Harrier, which will also serve as the ODAC Preview. The Hornet Harrier is set for Saturday, September 19.

The first weekend of October sees Shenandoah head to Lehigh for the Paul Short Invitational, before traveling to Gettysburg for the Aubrey Shenk Invitational in the middle of the month.

This year's NCAA South Region Championships are in Lynchburg, Virginia, while the national meet is in Northfield, Minnesota.
