Women's Volleyball Ranked Sixth in 2026 ODAC Preseason Poll

FOREST, Va. - The Shenandoah University women's volleyball team was ranked sixth in the 2026 edition of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Preseason Poll, which was released on Friday afternoon.

The Hornets received 86 points in the preseason poll, while Washington and Lee University is at the top of the rankings with 143 points and 11 first-place votes. The University of Lynchburg is second with the other two first-place votes and 126 points.

Batten University, Bridgewater College, and Randolph-Macon College make up the middle of the poll with the three spots in front of Shenandoah.

Both of Shenandoah's All-ODAC players from last season, Ashlyn Spence and Hannah Hylton, return to the court for the Hornets in 2026. The duo helped SU reach the ODAC Quarterfinals last season as the five seed.

The Hornets begin their 2026 campaign on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. non-conference home match against the University of Mary Washington.
